Jamie is a connoisseur of texture, color and sensation— exhilarated by observation, connection, and the daily experience. You can typically find her printing, brush-making, piling things nicely in her studio, and finding new material relationships in the process.
Jamie has worked and collaborated alongside companies like West Elm, Madewell, Ernesto Neto, Anthropologie, Bella Figura, Design*Sponge/Grace Bonney, The Textile Art Center, and Lillistreet Art Center. Working on a multitude of projects ranging from painting, block printing, and weaving, patterns are innate to her process. While working, she falls into flow, and allows the periphery to disappear. The tactile and haptic nature of her surface designs work together in harmony to create an experience that is both grounding and inspiring.
